Akes 27
is an open offshore boat, whose excellent marine qualities and performances
are combined with composites materials and great quality finishes.
The construction is sandwich-structure with extremely
thick mahogany laminate core, internally and externally laminated with epoxy
resin, with biaxial glass fabric and carbon fiber. The hull is therefore
extremely sturdy and bears a stress of no less than 10 G without undergoing
osmosis, so that the maintenance is minimized also if the boat is kept at
sea.
The keel characterizing the deep-V hull is crossed by two
series of spray rails, the bulwark are double-hull structured and guarantee
an unsinkable construction, thickly realized but proving to be lightweight
at the same time.
The boat can be powered with a single 200 hp engine
(minimum) and with two 200 hp engines (maximum), therefore reaching speeds
from 35 up to 50 knots and over.
During the test, this boat – powered with two 150 hp
engines – reached a speed of 44 knots with full load, showed extraordinarily
high-quality stability, dryness, sea-keeping and could be easily oriented.
The deck is entirely customizable and is equipped with a
spacious bow sun deck area with an under deck cabin, central T-top console,
bathroom, galley, live bait tank, sink, flush well deck.
The boat is trailerable, self bailing also statically and
unsinkable thanks to the watertight compartments.
Boat plans available for alloy or one off
construction.
