Med-Extreme 8.5 is an inflatable boat designed to achieve excellent top speed performances, high cruising speeds on rough seas with smooth ride through the waves, low fuel consumption thanks to the smoothness of the hull and the construction technology that allowed to contain weight while maintaining adequate standards of strenght. All this accompanied by a Mediterranean-style deck, so with large sundeck, dinette, bathroom. A gentleman racer.
Going into more detail: the hull is double stepped, with high average deadrise for smooth wave penetration, unlike other hulls with racing performance but which sacrifice navigation comfort , impacts and seakeeping to pure speed. The hull is built using 5-axis numerical control milling machines to achieve total compliance of the result with the CAD design.
