The Australian waters are a tough test for the boats that navigate there: often strong winds, ocean that can create large waves in a short time, sometimes the need to cross the bar to go out offshore, and shark-infested waters, all request from the boat the maximum safety. The hulls must be very stable and with excellent seaworthiness to navigate rough or breaking seas, well balanced to be able to overcome the breakers, extremely robust to withstand jumps and bumps with angry waters, and unsinkable, because an inflatable tubular that tears during fishing or ..for a shark bite.. can put the crew in serious danger.
Read MoreThe Saber 600 open is a little monster, it is an rib-kind equipped with tubular with D-section and foamfilled, non-inflatable, which combines the best characteristics of the RIB (buoyancy reserve, fender, stability), to those of the boat (impenetrability, absence of need for inflation, robustness, internal space). The hull is deep V with steep deadrise, the construction is made of 5083 aluminum with high thicknesses and dense reinforcements, all the components installed are made to last. The layout includes a cockpit suitable for fishing, worktop for baits, sides with correct height to help the fishing action with the rod, center console with bolster seat, wide walkable deck. Despite of its quite small size, keeps the same features of the bigger brothers. The engine is outboard, with a single 200 hp the Saber 615 reaches more than 40 knots while offering a high level of comfort in any weather condition. Rugged, but all in an elegant and sporty aesthetic, proudly designed by Akesdesign.
